Patrick HINDS 

Patrick Hinds is the co-creator and co-host of the hit true crime/comedy podcast, True Crime Obsessed (TCO) and commentary podcast, The Golden Girls Deep Dive Podcast. Along with Gillian, Patrick has helped grow TCO to over two hundred million downloads with an outstanding group of listeners. In 2022, TCO made history by being the first podcast to play live on Broadway.

 

Most recently, Patrick co-hosts The Golden Girls Deep Dive podcast, where he and two-time Tony nominee Jennifer Simard unpack every episode of the beloved series with humor and fascinating behind-the-scenes trivia. Each episode closes with an in-depth exploration of intriguing stories from the show's universe.

 

In addition to his time in front of the mic, Patrick also works behind the scenes as an executive producer of True Crime Obsessed. Prior to his true crime career, Hinds got his start in theater! Patrick created several Broadway-focused podcasts including Theater People and Broadway Backstory.

 

Patrick is also the author of the hilarious memoir Failure is Not NOT an Option which was released in Fall 2023 and became a national bestseller with the Wall Street Journal and Publisher’s Weekly.  Hinds is the creator, writer, and star of the touring show Patrick’s Traveling Book Party, which has been playing to sold-out crowds across the US and in London. In 2022, Patrick joined the board of A is For, an organization dedicated to destigmatizing abortion through art and creative initiatives. Hinds stays connected to the LGBTQ+ and Broadway community through his podcast. Since 2022, TCO has sponsored Broadway Backwards, an annual event celebrating LGBTQ+ stories through musical theater, with proceeds benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Patrick believes failure can be a great gift, “If you failed, it means you tried - you took a chance and showed up for yourself.” He is dedicated to helping others build and learn from their mistakes in order to excel.
